Emerald Afghan green tea crafted for luminous rituals

Abrisham is a single-origin leaf, hand-plucked at dawn and charcoal fired to capture pistachio sweetness, honeyed aromatics, and the hospitality of Kabul's tea houses.

Demo checkout launches with our first harvest release—sustainably sourced from Kunar garden cooperatives and roasted in small batches for clarity and calm.

Daily virtues

The Kunar leaf that lifts body and mind

Abrisham distils the brightness of Afghan highlands into a cup that energises without edge, nourishes with antioxidants, and invites a mindful pause in even the busiest day.

Antioxidant Vitality

First-flush leaves from the Kunar highlands are rich in catechins that help neutralise free radicals and keep daily wellness rituals restorative.

Calm, Focused Energy

Naturally occurring L-theanine softens the lift of caffeine, encouraging a centred state that suits mindful mornings and late-evening work alike.

Gentle Metabolic Support

A balanced brew offers a light thermogenic effect while staying kind to the palate—perfect for pairing with nourishing meals or mid-day resets.

Mindful Brewing Ritual

Measured steps encourage slow breathing, warm porcelain, and a moment of Afghan hospitality no matter where the kettle boils.

Single-Origin Purity

Every tin is traced to a single cooperative overlooking the Kunar River, ensuring consistent terroir-driven flavour and emerald clarity.

Regenerative Partnerships

Abrisham partners directly with families who steward organically nourished plots, reinvesting in soil health, water conservation, and community resilience.

Brew with intention

A five-step ritual rooted in Afghan tea houses

From mineral-perfect water to the final shared pour, these measured steps honour Kunar tea traditions and draw out the tea's honeyed jade character.

  1. 1

    Begin with mineral-balanced water

Filter or spring water with gentle mineral content protects the tea’s emerald hue and prevents bitterness from hard water.

    Target 80°C / 176°F

  2. 2

    Measure two grams with care

Scoop 2g of leaves for every 200ml of water—about a heaped teaspoon—so each infusion stays precise and balanced.

    2g · 0.07oz

  3. 3

    Awaken the leaf aroma

Rinse the leaves with a quick splash of hot water, then discard. The brief wake-up coaxes pistachio and alpine herb notes to the surface.

    3-second rinse

  4. 4

    Steep with intention

Pour water in a steady spiral and steep for 2–3 minutes. Watch for a luminous jade liquor as the signal to decant.

    Infuse 2–3 minutes

  5. 5

    Serve, share, and resteep

Pour immediately into warmed cups, inhale deeply, and invite company. Re-steep the leaves for a second, slightly longer infusion.

    Enjoy up to 2 infusions

Tip: keep the first infusion under three minutes to preserve sweetness, and always rinse the leaves briefly to release their pistachio aroma before guests arrive.
